About Dr. Edgar

- Dr. John C. Edgar received his Bachelor of Science with distinction in Biology from the University of Arizona. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in 1978.

- He enjoys providing all phases of general dentistry and continues to pursue coursework in all phases with an emphasis on Dental aesthetics, periodontics and implants.

- Outside of dentistry, Dr. Edgar enjoys a healthy lifestyle with his family, which includes marathons, cycling, fishing and other physical activities.

- Dr. John C Edgar has trained with some of the world's most prominent implant and cosmetic dental specialists.

He is rapidly becoming known as Chicago's leading dentist for people who want comprehensive dentistry.

Dr. Edgar has pursued postgraduate education aggressively and has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry after completing and documenting over 500 hours of coursework and passing the Fellowship exam.
